Rules Honestly now, These rules and regulations are made for everybody's benefit and the protection of the camping facilities. They are mostly common sense policy and anybody who disagrees with these rules will probably not have a very good time at Happy Acres 1. You must keep your receipt available at your site at all times, and your vehicle pass on your vehicle dashboard driver side. This is your only protection, should We question the validity of your registration. Our Security staff are instructed to "spot check" registrations for your protection. 2. Pets are welcome, but must be properly cared for, and kept on a short leash (15 feet or shorter). Small children are sometimes known to surprise animals, and are unaware of the dangers. "Watch" or "Guard" dogs are prohibited must be left at home, or in a kennel. 3. All pet waste must be cleaned up immediately! 4. Absolutely no firearms of any kind are permitted in the Kampground! This includes hunting bows, BB guns, Pellet Rifles, Paint Ball Guns, sling shots..ect. Violators will be evicted immediately with Police force! 5. Motor vehicle speed limit is 10 MPH. You may be denied admission, or ejected for violations. Cruising or joy riding the grounds is prohibited, and we are not a drivers education training site. 6. Motorcycles are discouraged, and are permitted in only limited areas of the Kampground. Mini bikes, dirt bikes, mopeds, motorized scooters, gocarts, personal golf cars, or other motorized entertainment sport vehicles are not allowed. Please don't bring them along with you. That will make your packing easier. 7. We respect our neighbors, and expect you to do the same. Please do not trespass on adjacent private property. The property lines, where not obvious, are marked by signs or fences. 8. All visitors must register at the office. Day visitors must leave the Kampground before 10:00 PM. Overnight visitors must register as such, and an extra fee is required. See rule #1. Keep all receipts available at your site. 9. 10:00 PM is quiet time! We mean it, We enforce it, so don't get P.O.d when we tell you to leave for violating it! Our "Family Campers" are our repeat business, and trying to calm down a two year old can be maddening! All kids and young adults should stay at the camp site, and not be wandering around. Try to maintain some peace until 9:00AM. 10. Anyone found destroying or damaging public or Kampground property, or violating these rules, can and will be evicted immediately. No refunds will be given. In the case of a minor, this can effect his/her entire family. 11. Kampground recreational facilities are for registered campers, and are not intended to be used by day visitors. This constitutes abuse of the facilities, and is very unfair to your fellow campers. 12. Camp fires are encouraged. Firewood may be purchased at the office. Fires must be of a reasonable size and contained within the furnished "fire-ring". No burning full skids or other large items. Fire starter kits are available in the office. Many materials such as Railroad ties, Utility poles, Fence posts, and Pallets or skids, are treated with Creosote or Arsenic based chemicals that are known to be very dangerous. Painted scrap lumber also falls into this category. Be aware that you may be turned away for bringing in wood from outside the area as the Emerald Ash Borer has become a serious issue in neighboring counties. Have fun, but be careful! A lot of effort goes into keeping the grass. DO NOT MOVE FIRE RINGS ! 13. See rule #12: Please Do Not move fire rings! |
