Happy Acres Deposit and Refund Policy
Reservations are always highly recommended, however, a reservation is not final until a deposit of the first nights site rent has been received. Deposits may be made by credit card, check, or cash. We accept Visa, Master Card, or Discover. Your credit card will be charged for the amount of the deposit at the time the reservation is made. All deposits by check must be received within 14 days of the reservation, or the reservation will be cancelled. Reservation requests without deposits are cancelled 14 days after requests are made.
We understand that things happen, and we will try to work with you. We will not make any refunds due to weather conditions, early departures, no shows, or late cancellations. That being said, the following options may be available:
Our Wisconsin Association of Campground Owners guarantee is that if you are not satisfied with Happy Acres, you may leave within 20 minutes of arriving and recieve a full refund.
A deposit will be refunded less a $10.00 service charge, if the cancellation is made before 11:00AM CDT, 7 days prior to check-in. In other words, for a Friday check-in, you must cancel by 11:00AM on the prior Friday.
Deposit for a late cancellation may be applied to a later date in this season, not transferred to another person.
All time references are to Central Daylight Time. Holiday weekends are Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day. Holiday weekends require 3 night reservations.
ALL refunds will be made by check. Refunds are processed monthly, so please allow up to four weeks. Group refunds will be made payable to the person who made the original reservations.
